Great to meet you!

Feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, addiction, self-esteem struggles, or major transitions can make it hard to know where to turn. Lauren Rivera provides a warm, supportive space where adults can feel safe to be honest, process difficult emotions, and begin moving toward meaningful change. Her approach is gentle, encouraging, and practical—helping clients feel both understood and empowered.

My approach to therapy

Lauren uses Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and solution-focused therapy to help clients develop healthier patterns, build resilience, and reconnect with what matters most to them. As a Christian, she welcomes incorporating faith into sessions when desired, while also creating an inclusive environment for clients of all backgrounds and beliefs. She believes therapy should feel authentic, collaborative, and centered on hope and growth.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect their first session with Lauren Rivera to feel welcoming, supportive, and collaborative. The first appointment is an opportunity to get to know one another, discuss what brings them to therapy, explore goals for treatment, and gather important background information. Lauren also encourages clients to ask questions and make sure they feel comfortable throughout the process. Her goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and hopeful about moving forward.
