Great to meet you!

I specialize in helping adults heal from trauma, anxiety, burnout, grief, and life transitions, with particular expertise working with healthcare professionals, first responders, and adults who have been diagnosed with ADHD or identified as neurodivergent later in life. Many of my clients are highly capable, compassionate people who have spent years caring for others while struggling to prioritize their own well-being.

As an EMDR Certified Therapist, I have advanced training in trauma treatment and utilize evidence-based approaches to help clients move beyond symptom management and toward lasting healing. I understand that experiences from the past can continue to impact how we see ourselves, navigate relationships, and respond to stress, even when we logically know we "should" be able to move forward. Although I am certified in EMDR, I'm not a one-size-fits-all type of therapist and utilize a collaborative approach using the combination of techniques that work for you!

My goal is to create a space where clients feel genuinely understood, supported, and empowered to make meaningful changes. Whether you're navigating the effects of trauma, professional burnout, anxiety, or the experience of understanding yourself through a new neurodivergent lens, therapy can be a place to gain clarity, healing, and hope

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be both supportive and transformative. My approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed, with a focus on helping clients understand not only what is happening in their lives today, but also the experiences that may be contributing to current patterns, beliefs, and emotional responses.

I specialize in assisting clients to process experiences and/or beliefs about self that continue to feel unresolved or "stuck." Depending on each client's needs and goals, I may also incorporate parts work, mindfulness, attachment-focused interventions, and practical coping strategies.

I view therapy as a partnership. Together, we'll identify your goals, build on your strengths, and work toward meaningful, lasting change. Whether you're healing from trauma, navigating burnout, managing anxiety, or learning to better understand your neurodivergent brain, my goal is to help you feel more empowered, connected, and confident in your daily life.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, so my goal is to create an environment where you feel comfortable, supported, and free to be yourself. During our first session, we'll spend time getting to know one another and discussing what brings you to therapy, the challenges you're currently facing, and what you hope to gain from the counseling process.

We'll explore relevant aspects of your history, identify your goals, and begin developing a plan tailored to your needs. This first session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and determine whether I feel like the right fit for you.

You do not need to have everything figured out before you begin. Many clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, or stuck. Our first session is simply the beginning of understanding your story and identifying a path forward together.
