Hello! My name is Mickaela, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I received my Masters of Social Work at Campbellsville University in 2021. I have nearly a decade of experience in the helping profession, and am so glad that you have stopped by my profile.
My approach to therapy is very client-centered. I firmly believe in autonomy-and am here to walk beside you as you navigate your therapeutic journey. I believe in the "whole person", honoring your current circumstances, where you are coming from, and where you would like to go as a holistic picture to support you in achieving your goals. I love empowering clients through information, attunement, affirmation, inquisition, gentle challenging, and a bit of humor at times.
In our first session, I strive to create a welcoming environment in which you feel seen, heard and valued. The therapeutic relationship is vital in assisting you in achieving your mental health goals-and I aim to provide you with a warm, comfortable space to process and explore your inner-most thoughts and feelings.
