Great to meet you!

I'm not a regular therapist—I'm a cool therapist. You'll likely find me using humor in sessions because it's one of my favorite coping skills (when it's appropriate). I strive to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you can feel comfortable being yourself.

Helping others has always been my passion, and I love supporting clients as they create the meaningful changes in their lives. I also value learning and believe that knowledge can be a powerful tool for growth, so don't be surprised if I recommend a book or two during our time together.

I specialize in working with clients experiencing anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, substance use concerns, burnout, and adjustment disorders or other life transitions. I also love supporting new moms as they navigate the perinatal period and the unique challenges that can come with it.

My approach to therapy

I have an eclectic and organic therapeutic style. I enjoy learning about you as an individual, so we can work together to determine an approach and treatment plan. In my work, I naturally place a big emphasis on holistic health, which means we will look at many different aspects of wellness and how they fit together to create improvement overall. In sessions, I love to teach and discuss things like: movement, nutrition, nervous system regulation, mindfulness and meditation, self-care, boundaries and communication.

What you can expect from me

When we first meet, you can expect that I will be excited to meet you and get to learn about what brings you to therapy! Then, I will spend time asking questions to get an understanding of what struggles you are experiencing or what changes you would like to see in your life. From there, if we believe we are a good fit, we will work to create a tailored treatment plan and approach for moving forward with the therapeutic process.
