Great to meet you!

I'm Lauren, a Licensed Professional Counselor with 13+ years in the helping field.

I am passionate about working with teenagers and young adults, including student-athletes, the LGBTQ and recovery communities. I enjoy working with clients who want to improve their interpersonal relationships by exploring their dynamics through the lens of attachment-based theories.

**I am accepting new clients for a short-term model of care using an integrated approach to alleviate symptoms such as Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, and CBT-I for Insomnia.

I incorporate practices such as nutrition, sleep habits, movement, and other holistic interventions to supplement beyond talk therapy.**

I started this holistic journey through my own experience of chronic brain fog and fatigue as an undiagnosed child with ADHD. I lived on macaroni and cheese and couch surfing.

In my twenties, I got into fitness, gained energy, and shifted my nutrition to keep up with intense workouts.

This motivated me to explore the mind-body connection, targeting the "second brain" found in our stomach.

In 2024, I was diagnosed with several food intolerances and had to completely change my diet. This furthered my interest in research and training on inflammation and its impact on digestion, energy, focus, and emotional regulation.

If you are interested in scheduling a session but don't see an opening, please reach out.

My approach to therapy

I use solution-focused skills to help you attain your goals and emotionally-focused techniques to help you explore your needs and identity. This journey is yours; I am simply a supportive facilitator of change in your life.

What you can expect from me

I bring humor, empathy, and curiosity into my sessions.

I want you to leave a session feeling heard, validated, and empowered with a new skill set to navigate life without white-knuckling it!
