Great to meet you!

I’m so glad you’re here. I’m Lauren, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience working with teens and adults. I love helping clients better understand themselves, navigate life’s challenges, and recognize strengths they may not have seen in themselves before. I work primarily with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, perfectionism, burnout, relationship challenges, low self-esteem, stress, and major life transitions. Many of the people I support feel overwhelmed, stuck, emotionally exhausted, or unsure how to move forward. My goal is to create a space where you feel understood, accepted, and supported while we work toward meaningful goals that help you feel more confident, grounded, and connected to yourself.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be collaborative, supportive, and practical. My job is to create a space where you feel understood and accepted while also helping you move toward the goals that matter to you. In session, we may explore patterns related to anxiety, depression, ADHD, perfectionism, burnout, relationships, stress, or life transitions. We may also work on coping skills, emotional regulation, self-compassion, communication, boundaries, and strategies for managing overwhelm in daily life. My style is warm, thoughtful, and encouraging, with a focus on helping you better understand what is getting in the way and build realistic tools for change. I believe therapy works best when clients feel safe enough to be honest and supported enough to grow!

What you can expect from me

Our first session will focus on getting to know each other and beginning to understand what brings you to therapy. I usually start by asking what has been feeling difficult, what you hope will be different if therapy is successful, and what goals you may want to work toward. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, perfectionism, burnout, relationship challenges, stress, or a major life transition, we will begin identifying a direction that feels realistic and supportive. We will create a plan together and check in regularly to make sure our work still feels helpful and aligned with your needs. My hope is that you leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and more clear about the path ahead.
