Hello! If you are reading this, you are already taking the first step towards bettering yourself or your family. Therapy can be intimidating, but I like to look at it more as a journey towards wholeness and healing. I work with adults, teens, and children that may be struggling due to stress, life changes, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, or difficult pasts. I also work with families to help navigate conflict, disagreements, oppositional behaviors, and coping with major challenges. I work from a client-centered approach which means that I meet folks where they are, with no judgement, and hope to partner with you on your road to healing. I use therapies and tools that pull from attachment centered approaches, positive psychology, mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, trauma-informed interventions, and somatic approaches.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor as well as a National Certified Counselor. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Randolph-Macon Woman’s College, and a Master’s in Community Counseling from Marymount University. I have been working with children, families, and adults for over 10 years and have been licensed for 7 years. I also have been supervising residents in counseling for 5 years.
