Great to meet you!

Are you seeking to feel truly seen and understood? Do you sometimes feel isolated, wondering about your purpose, or like a stranger in your own body? I understand these feelings deeply.

In a world often divided by identities and values, my work specializing in complex trauma through mind and body treatments has shown me a universal truth: we all desire to feel loved and to belong, both within ourselves and our communities.

My goal is to provide a warm and nurturing space where you can authentically explore your identity. Together, we can work towards deepening healthy, loving relationships outside of therapy and establishing healthy boundaries to navigate challenging dynamics.

My approach to therapy

As a therapist, my goal is to walk along side you in your journey to healing and transformation by helping you to recognize the purpose of behaviors, develop a non-judgmental curiosity about thoughts and beliefs you hold, and assisting you in developing skills that will help you manage emotional responses and feel safe in your body and mind.

What you can expect from me

I want to emphasize that building a strong therapeutic relationship takes time, and there's no pressure for immediate trust. We can certainly begin our work together as we get to know each other.

In our initial session, I typically like to discuss your goals for therapy, what has been helpful or unhelpful in your past experiences, the supportive or challenging relationships in your life, and most importantly, your strengths. Please feel free to share as much or as little as you are comfortable with, whether on paper or during our session. The more you share, the better I can support you.

I also want to highlight that choice is a fundamental aspect of therapy. For many who have experienced abuses of power and control in relationships, the ability to choose has been taken away. Simply showing up for your first session is a significant step, and I commend you for your courage in doing so.
