Hi, I am Lauren. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a passion for helping people grow and learn about themselves. I have been practicing for 7 years and have a heart for working with people with trauma in their background. Life can feel overwhelming because of things that happened in your past that you can't control. Let's work together to learn new ways to cope and alleviate the symptoms of unprocessed trauma.
Our thoughts effect our feelings which effect our behaviors. In counseling with me we will work together to identify core beliefs (thoughts) about yourself that are effecting how you feel about yourself and leading to unwanted behaviors. This process will be eye opening and help you see yourself in a new, positive light.
I create a calm and judgement free environment where you can share your life. We will create goals together and a specific plan to help you reach those goals.
