Great to meet you!

I’m so glad you’re here! Outside of personal experience, my formal counseling experience has been with adults within the residential, clinical, and group therapy spheres prior to starting my practice in 2022. What draws me to counseling is an appreciation for the nuances of the human experience, and a strong faith in people’s ability to thrive resiliently. My hope here is to help guide you to a place where you feel more assured and confident to take on life outside of this space.

My approach to therapy

Establishing a secure & comfortable relationship is my priority- I understand this takes time. I view our sessions as conversations with therapeutic challenges. My approach is strengths-based & informed by dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), interpersonal, and mindfulness based practices. I present a balance of warmth & compassion with intention to foster self-accountability & confidence. I take care in discerning which approach to lean into, with respect to your situation and goals.

What you can expect from me

I welcome you to reach out so we can discuss what’s going on for you, what you’re looking for with therapy, and to help us decide if making an appointment feels right. In our time together thereafter, you can expect to:

-Clarify your values & life directions

-Increase your capacity to accept & tolerate difficult or painful emotions

-Build more confidence & self-compassion

-Create more balance in your life and relationships

-Shift stubborn patterns that keep you & your relationships feeling stuck
