Great to meet you!

I have worked with individuals from diverse backgrounds across inpatient settings, emergency services, nonprofit organizations, and military environments. These experiences have shaped my approach to counseling to meet clients with compassion, respect, and understanding. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered especially during times of stress or transition.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is client-centered and collaborative, grounded in curiosity and compassion. I believe meaningful change happens when clients feel understood, respected, and met exactly where they are. I draw primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, while also building psychological flexibility and values-driven action. I work with individuals navigating adjustment disorders, relationship challenges, and depression, supporting them in developing practical skills, deeper self-awareness, and sustainable coping strategies.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity to get to know one another and begin building a supportive, collaborative relationship. We will talk about what brings you to therapy, explore your current circumstances, and gain a general understanding of your personal history. We will also identify your goals for therapy—what you are hoping will feel different or improve over time. This session is paced to meet you where you are, with space for questions, reflection, and setting a direction that feels right for you.
