Great to meet you!

I specialize in working with veterans and anyone else who feels their "Inner Warrior" is left on the battlefield fighting something large or small, from the past or in the present. I have two master's degrees, 25+ years of counseling experience, and learned much in various forms from life itself.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My goal is to hold the space for a client to grow in awareness, honesty, and integrity -- and, as a result, be a happier, more fulfilled, and the best expression of themselves.

Increasing awareness of the inner world allows for more proactive choices.

Honesty increases one's sense of self and invites possibilities.

Aligning inner thoughts first with the highest self and then with actions empowers one to be the creative director of their own life.

What you can expect from our first session

Sessions generally follow this format.

First, the client and I review notes from the previous session, new topics, and the focus for the day.

As active participants, clients are encouraged to bring what didn't work during the week (and what did) into the session.

We develop awareness, note ties to the past, strengthen skills to navigate the present, and strive to create the desired future.

Sessions end with client's review of what resonated and any homework for the next week.
