Great to meet you!

Since 2007, I have dedicated my career to supporting individuals navigating complex life challenges. I hold a Master of Arts in Forensic Psychology from the University of Denver and am dual-licensed in Colorado as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC).

My extensive background in forensic mental health has given me a unique specialization in working with severe and pervasive mental illness, as well as cognitive impairments. I pride myself on being an ethically and clinically minded professional, and am steady, knowledgeable, and possess strong advocacy for clients who may feel overwhelmed by the system or their own symptoms, helping them find clarity and stability.

My approach to therapy

I believe that you are the expert on your own life. My role is to provide the clinical expertise and empathetic environment necessary for you to exercise your autonomy. I meet you exactly where you are—cognitively and emotionally—without judgment.

My style is collaborative and grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). We will work together to build self-awareness and practical coping interventions. By affirming your experiences and validating your journey, I help you bridge the gap between where you are now and the goals you want to achieve.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is about building a foundation of safety and understanding. We will start by discussing what brought you to therapy and what you hope to change. My primary goal is to ensure you feel heard and respected.

You can expect a calm, structured environment where we’ll review your history and identify your immediate needs. By the end of our first meeting, we will have a preliminary 'roadmap' for our work together, ensuring that you leave with a sense of direction and the confidence that you don't have to navigate these challenges alone.
