Great to meet you!

Allow me to introduce myself...

Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have been working in this field for the last 15 years. I received my master's in social work from Syracuse University in May of 2012. I have worked my entire career in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) programs including residential and outpatient. I have been intensively trained in DBT by Behavioral Tech. I have also received specialized training in DBT for Adolescents and Families, SUD and Eating Disorders.

My approach to therapy

We cannot always do hard things alone. With the help of a therapist, who is non-judgmental and removed from your everyday life, you can learn new, effective skills to balance accepting the things you cannot change with the ability to recognize what you can change by learning new, effective ways to live in the present moment.

What you can expect from me

We will be working together to increase behaviors you want to see more of and decrease the behaviors you would like to engage less in. We will do this by the development and implementation of new, effective coping skills by learning them in session and practicing them in your everyday life.
