Great to meet you!

I began my career in psychiatric care because I genuinely believe in a holistic approach to health. I received my Master of Science in Nursing, specializing in Psychiatric Mental Health, from Western Governors University. My training gave me the advanced skills needed for assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment. I spent a lot of my clinical time working with the pediatric population and adolescents, which is where I really learned the value of a family-centered approach and fell in love with helping young people navigate the ups and downs of development. Before that, I was a Registered Nurse, which taught me firsthand how deeply connected our physical and mental health are—something that applies not just to patients, but to my fellow healthcare professionals as well. While I treat all kinds of mental health issues, my real passion and focus is helping people deal with burnout, chronic stress, and compassion fatigue. I understand the demands, the emotional toll, and how hard it is to ask for help. I offer a private, specialized space for those who always put others first.

My approach to therapy

My approach is client-centered and collaborative. I see our relationship as a partnership where you are the expert on your own life. We’ll create a personalized treatment plan that combines evidence-based care, including evaluation, medication if needed, and therapy, while including lifestyle, mindfulness, and spiritual needs. All decisions will be shared, informed, and will always respect your goals and values.

What you can expect from me

My aim is to cultivate a safe, confidential, and validating environment where you feel seen and respected without judgment. Clients can expect their first session to focus on establishing trust and conducting a comprehensive psychiatric assessment. We begin by defining the treatment goals, which often include achieving sustainable regulation of mood/sleep and building boundary empowerment to manage stress. The session involves a collaborative discussion of your current concerns, medical history, and professional context, culminating in an initial clinical impression and a shared treatment plan for the next steps, ensuring you leave with a clear sense of hope and direction.
