Great to meet you!

As a young adult, I began to naturally gravitate towards my interest in psychology. In four years, I graduated with my Bachelors in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts and began working in acute psychiatric hospitals. Shortly after, I achieved my Masters of Social Work and obtained my licensure (LCSW) to begin private practice with a focus in complex trauma using a trauma informed approach with EMDR and Narrative Exposure Therapy.

My approach to therapy

I practice using a solution focused, trauma informed approach. My speciality includes EMDR, Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and mindfulness. My work experience once lived within the halls of San Diego’s largest Emergency Room which has allowed me to think critically and develop a fast and efficient treatment plan for all ages. I have a women’s focus in treatment to include Postpartum Depression, Postpartum Anxiety and hormonal changes.

What you can expect from me

You are on the right path, in the right direction towards taking control of your health and well being. I am proud of you. With my skills and your contribution, we can continue to walk towards your future to find happiness and healing. I embrace each client the same with kindness, warmth and encouragement towards healing their future.
