Great to meet you!

You're the one keeping track of your mom's medications, sitting through her doctor appointments, and lying awake wondering if you're doing enough. Or you're growing older yourself and asking who you are now, in this chapter of life. Either way, you're carrying more than your share, and you're tired. As a licensed clinical social worker, I've worked alongside older adults and the adult children supporting them for 17 years, including through my own family's caregiving. With me, you won't have to over-explain your week before we can get to what actually matters

My approach to therapy

Our work is warm, honest, and sometimes funny, because heavy topics deserve real conversation, not clinical distance. I draw on cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and strength-based work, but most of what helps comes from listening closely and giving you practical tools you can use between sessions.

We'll make sense of complicated emotions, find words for grief that doesn't always look like grief, and build a path forward that fits your real life.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is mostly conversation. I'll ask what brought you in, what your week feels like right now, and what you want to feel different. You don't need a polished story or a clean answer ready to go.

By the end, you'll have a sense of how I work, what we might focus on together, and whether this feels like a fit. No homework on day one. Just a starting point.
