Great to meet you!

I obtained my master's degree in clinical mental health counseling in 2003 and have worked in a variety of clinical settings and a variety of age groups. As of late, my practice has shifted to working with adults, primarily with concerns of stress management, anxiety, depression, relational concerns, and whatever else may be weighing on you.

My approach to therapy

Each of us could benefit from connecting with a neutral party from time to time. I'm here to walk alongside you; to listen, offer guidance, perspective, and support. I tend to approach our work through the lens of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT); focusing on changing unhealthy thought patterns and connected feelings and actions.

What you can expect from me

An initial appointment can come with uncertainty, anxiety, and or fear. My goal is to create a sense of collaboration and emotional safety. I'd like to learn about you, your past, and your goals. I like the details as they help put together the pieces of the puzzle. Once we establish goals, we can work together to sort through the pieces.
