Great to meet you!

I am a licensed psychologist with a Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Montana and over a decade of experience as a school psychologist at Tacoma Public Schools. During that time, I conducted hundreds of psychoeducational evaluations through a neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed, and anti-racist lens. In my private practice, I provide individual therapy to teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, autism, parenting stress, and major life transitions. I also offer comprehensive psychological assessments for clients of all ages. I am LGBTQ+-affirming and deeply committed to working thoughtfully and inclusively with clients across all backgrounds and lived experiences.

My approach to therapy

My approach draws from relational, attachment-based, and third-wave behavioral therapies, including ACT, CBT, and trauma-focused interventions. I work collaboratively with you to articulate your values, explore your relationships, and discover the behavioral patterns that may be keeping you stuck. My goal is to help you lead a life that feels fulfilling and meaningful. I believe in meeting clients where they are and tailoring the work to your unique history, identity, and goals.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance to get to know each other and begin understanding what has brought you to therapy. Assessments can be done fully in-office, or the intake and clinical interview can be completed via telehealth if you prefer. I will listen carefully and make sure you feel heard and at ease. I look forward to seeing if we are a good fit.
