Great to meet you!

Prior to becoming a psychotherapist I was exactly where you are now reaching out for support. You don't have to go through this alone. I have a Master's Degree in Holistic Counseling and I am also a licensed Mental Health Counselor with 20 years experience working with anxiety, depression, loss and trauma. Therapy helped me to understand myself and cope with my situation. It also led me to my education which, taught me that seeing yourself as a whole gives you more options to choose from when things go wrong. By combining the two I can better support what you most need so you can move forward with purpose and see that there is life beyond coping.

My approach to therapy

I use a holistic approach that includes therapeutic strategies and problem solving while also explores the mind-body connection and a sense of meaning. I prioritize creating a supportive, non-judgmental space where you can explore your experiences, develop coping skills, and move towards a more fulfilling life. My goal is to empower you to understand yourself more deeply and recognize your wholeness. From there it is easier to make positive, sustainable changes that reflect the person you really are.

What you can expect from me

I strive to create a comfortable and safe environment so you can safely share what brings you to this work and what you hope to accomplish. Together we can explore what you need and build a plan to match that. Then we explore what helps you move forward and we work through anything that may be getting in the way.
