Great to meet you!

Welcome! I understand that reaching out for support takes tremendous courage. Whether this is your first time considering therapy or you are returning to it, I am genuinely excited to be part of your journey. I am Laurie Gray, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, practicing in Illinois. I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Social Work from Saint Louis University. I have over twenty years of experience supporting adults, teens, and families in reaching their personal goals.

My approach to therapy

I use many therapeutic models, and often pull from a variety of approaches to address client needs. This may include, but not limited to: cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, solution focused therapy, strength based therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy. I consider the following areas as strengths and specializations in my practice: anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, ADHD, and parenting issues.

What you can expect from me

As your therapist, I am here to create a warm, accepting space where you can feel heard and supported. By focusing on your unique strengths, we will work together to find practical solutions and create positive change that lasts.
