Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Laurie, and I'm so glad you're here! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience supporting adults through anxiety, depression, pregnancy and postpartum, ADHD and neurodivergence, trauma, life transitions, and more.

I hold a certification in perinatal mental health and specialize in supporting individuals in those seasons of life. I also hold a special place in my practice for the adult neurodivergent community and love supporting adults as they explore, understand, and embrace their neurodivergence!

My approach to therapy

My approach is person-centered, strengths-based, trauma-informed, and grounded primarily in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), while also incorporating elements of CBT, DBT, and practical skill-building when helpful.

I don’t believe therapy should feel like someone sitting across from you telling you how to live your life. My role is to help you better understand yourself, identify what matters most to you, and help you make changes that feel meaningful and sustainable.

What you can expect from me

I strive to create a space where you don’t have to perform, explain yourself perfectly, or have everything figured out before you walk through the door. You are the expert on your own life, and therapy should feel collaborative, supportive, and honest- with room for humor, curiosity, and gentle challenge along the way.

My main priority in the first session is to help you feel safe, welcomed, and free to be your most authentic self. I will always show up authentically for you and always encourage you to come as you are! (bring your coffee, bring your snacks, bring your baby, and just be you!)
