Great to meet you!

I am clinically seasoned psychotherapist with significant evidence based training and experience in PTSD / Trauma (EMDR, Prolonged Exposure Cognitive Processing Therapy) Depression and Anxiety. I also specialize in recovery of emotionally abusive / narcissistic relationships.

My approach to therapy

My psychotherapeutic approach is aligned to my personality: An earthy, direct, and inquisitive New York style combined with the warmth, friendliness and sometimes humor of a small town professional. I see our time together developing an inviting partnership. I use my client's strengths, needs, and goals as a roadmap to explore and gain insight. To me, personal growth is like stretching and strengthening a muscle. I encourage and provide opportunities to "stretch" a bit out of the comfort zone - always at my client's pace.

What you can expect from me

The first session is our first opportunity to begin to get to know one another. My focus is on understanding who you are and how I can best help meet your needs. During my first session, we will be coverering different aspects of your history and current life as well as your needs and goals.
