Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed clinical social worker who brings both clinical depth and real-world perspective into therapy. My work is grounded, collaborative, and practical—I help clients make sense of what they’re experiencing and build tools they can actually use in daily life.

I specialize in working with adults navigating trauma, major life transitions, relationship stress, identity shifts, and high levels of responsibility or pressure. Many of my clients are thoughtful, capable people who feel “stuck,” overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves despite outward success.

My style is warm, direct, and engaged. I believe therapy works best when it’s a genuine partnership—one where you feel heard, respected, and gently challenged when it’s helpful. I’m trauma-informed and attentive to the nervous system, emotions, beliefs, and the patterns that keep repeating in your life.

Above all, I aim to create a calm, steady space where you can slow down, gain clarity, and move toward change at a pace that feels right for you.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, trauma-informed, and tailored to each person. I believe effective therapy starts with safety, trust, and understanding how your nervous system, emotions, thoughts, and life experiences interact.

I draw from evidence-based practices while staying flexible and responsive to what you need in the moment. Sessions often include helping you make sense of patterns, develop emotional regulation skills, process difficult experiences, and strengthen your ability to respond—rather than react—to stress, relationships, and change.

I’m active and engaged in sessions and will offer reflection, education, and practical tools when helpful. At the same time, I respect your pace and your goals. Therapy with me isn’t about “fixing” you—it’s about helping you build insight, stability, and self-trust so you can move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

What you can expect from me

The first session is focused on getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about what you’re hoping for, what’s been challenging, and any important history you want to share. There’s no pressure to tell your entire story all at once—you’re in control of the pace.

I’ll ask thoughtful questions, listen carefully, and help you begin to organize what you’re experiencing. You can expect a calm, supportive conversation where we start identifying goals and what you’d like therapy to help you with.

By the end of the session, most clients leave with a clearer sense of direction and a feeling of whether this approach and working relationship feel like a good fit. We’ll also talk about next steps and how we might work together moving forward.
