Great to meet you!

I believe therapy is about more than managing symptoms. It is about understanding yourself, navigating life's challenges, and creating a life that feels meaningful, balanced, and fulfilling.

With nearly 30 years of experience as a mental health professional, I bring a warm, genuine, and down-to-earth approach to therapy. I recognize that everyone has a unique story, and I believe meaningful change begins with feeling heard, understood, and supported.

I enjoy working with adults who are navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, stress, anxiety, self-esteem concerns, or simply feeling stuck or uncertain about their next chapter.

My approach is collaborative, interactive, and individualized, integrating traditional psychotherapy with mindfulness, self-compassion, and practical strategies that encourage personal growth and emotional well-being. I believe in helping people recognize their strengths, gain new perspectives, and make intentional choices that align with what matters most to them.

My goal is to create a comfortable, nonjudgmental space where we can work together toward greater confidence, balance, resilience, and a renewed sense of purpose. Ultimately, I want to help you not only feel better, but live better.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and personalized. I believe that meaningful change begins with understanding ourselves, recognizing our strengths, and exploring the patterns that may be keeping us from living the life we want.

I integrate evidence-based therapeutic approaches with mindfulness, self-compassion, and practical strategies that support emotional well-being and personal growth. My style is conversational, interactive, and down-to-earth. I believe therapy should feel like a genuine partnership where you feel comfortable, respected, and empowered.

Rather than focusing solely on problems, I help clients gain new perspectives, navigate life's transitions, strengthen relationships, and make intentional choices that lead to greater balance, confidence, and fulfillment.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another in a comfortable, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment. We'll talk about what brings you to therapy, what's important to you, and what you hope to gain from our time together.

I believe therapy should be a collaborative process, so there is no pressure to share everything at once. We'll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you while exploring your concerns, strengths, and personal goals.

My hope is that you leave our first conversation feeling heard, understood, and encouraged, with a sense of direction and confidence about the path ahead.
