Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 30 years of experience supporting adults through trauma, anxiety, relationship difficulties, and major life transitions. My passion for trauma healing deepened through many years of working with soldiers and veterans, where I witnessed both the lasting effects of painful experiences and the remarkable resilience people carry. I strive to provide a warm, compassionate space where clients feel understood, respected, and supported.

My approach to therapy

My approach is trauma-informed, compassionate, and focused on helping clients understand the deeper beliefs and experiences that may be influencing their thoughts, emotions, relationships, and sense of self. I use gentle, integrative methods that allow clients to heal without having to recount every painful detail or relive traumatic experiences. Together, we work toward greater emotional safety, confidence, connection, and freedom from patterns that no longer serve them.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a conversation centered on understanding what has been weighing on you, what you have already tried, and what you hope will feel different. I will also ask about your history and current concerns, but there is no pressure to share more than you are ready to discuss. By the end of the session, you should feel heard, have a clearer sense of how we may work together, and know what the next steps toward healing could look like.
