Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) with extensive experience working with adults who are navigating trauma, addiction, anxiety, relationship patterns, and major life transitions. I’m also trained in EMDR and take an integrative, trauma-informed approach to therapy.

I tend to work best with people who are ready to understand themselves on a deeper level and make meaningful changes, even when that work feels uncomfortable. My style is warm, direct, collaborative, and grounded. I won’t just sit back and nod. I’ll help you identify patterns, understand what’s underneath them, and work toward changes that actually feel sustainable.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and individualized. I draw from EMDR, CBT, DBT, attachment-based work, motivational interviewing, and other evidence-based approaches depending on what fits the person in front of me.

I believe therapy should go beyond simply managing symptoms. We’ll look at the experiences, beliefs, relationships, and coping patterns that may be keeping you stuck while also building practical tools you can use in everyday life. I’ll meet you with compassion, but I’ll also challenge you when it can help you move forward.

What you can expect from me

The first session is about getting to know you and understanding what brought you to therapy, what you’ve been dealing with, and what you want to change. You don’t need to come in knowing exactly where to start or having your whole story figured out.

We’ll talk about what has and hasn’t worked for you before, identify some initial goals, and begin figuring out what approach may be most helpful. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and clearer about what our work together could look like.
