Great to meet you!

Hi! I am excited to meet you!

With more than 30 years of experience as a public school counselor, I have dedicated my career to supporting children, adolescents, and the families who care for them. I’ve worked closely with parents, extended family members, and other caring adults to foster resilience, emotional well-being, and healthy development.

I bring extensive training and experience in grief and loss, providing a compassionate, supportive space for individuals and families navigating life’s most difficult transitions. I understand that grief is not linear and looks different for everyone, and I walk alongside clients as they process loss, honor their experiences, and move toward healing at their own pace.

My approach to therapy

My Approach

My approach to therapy is grounded in the belief that healing happens within a safe, trusting relationship. I offer a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can share openly and explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. This is especially important when working with grief, where emotions can feel complex, overwhelming, or difficult to put into words.

I see therapy as a partnership, and together we’ll work to better understand what you’re experiencing while identifying practical strategies that support meaningful change. Alongside insight and reflection, I focus on building coping skills and emotional tools you can use in everyday life, supporting you as you process loss, adjust to change, and move forward with greater resilience.

What you can expect from me

What to expect from me

We’ll begin with an introductory session where you can share your story, your concerns, and what you hope to gain from therapy. We will clarify your goals together and create a plan that feels realistic and supportive.

You can expect me to provide a compassionate, steady presence while also offering guidance, feedback, and practical tools. From there, I will walk alongside you — helping you process emotions, strengthen coping skills, and move forward with greater clarity and resilience.
