Great to meet you!

I received my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the College of William and Mary in 1992 and my Master’s in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1994. I have been a licensed clinical social worker for almost 30 years and have lived in Hampton, VA for over 20 years, currently with my husband and our two dogs. My clinical work has included practicing in a residential treatment center for children and adolescents, therapeutic foster care agencies, outpatient mental health clinics, and Navy Fleet and Family Support Centers. In 2025, I began providing telehealth services through online platforms to adults and adolescents.

My approach to therapy

I am an inclusive therapist, and I welcome clients of all backgrounds, ethnicities, and orientations without judgment. I enjoy working with both couples and individuals. I am very comfortable addressing relationship issues, anxiety, depression, trauma, and the many challenges of daily living. I look forward to getting to know you and hearing your story.

What you can expect from me

As a therapist, it is my job to conduct a thorough assessment and help you identify your specific goals. We will then collaborate to determine the best path to achieve them. It is essential to be able to imagine what you want your life to look like before you set out on your journey. You are in charge of your therapy; we will work on what is important to you.
