Great to meet you!

I'm a Colorado psychiatric nurse practitioner who built my career supporting people in residential substance use treatment. Patients kept asking to stay with me after discharge, so I built a telehealth practice so continuity doesn't end when a program does. If you want steady, judgment-free support, I'd love to hear from you.

My approach to therapy

My approach centers on medication management that respects where a patient is in recovery. Many of my patients are stepping down from residential or partial hospitalization care, so I pay close attention to what they survived to get there and what keeps that stability going. Visits are straightforward: I review how a medication is working, adjust carefully, and I'm open about the realities of prescribing when someone has a substance use history, including why certain medications call for extra caution. I check in on side effects and cravings, and coordinate with any outside therapist or care team a patient already has so nothing falls through the cracks.

What you can expect from me

Your first visit is a conversation, not an interrogation. I'll ask about your history, including any residential or outpatient treatment, your current medications, and what has or hasn't worked. From there we build a plan together, with follow-ups scheduled around how you're doing rather than a fixed script. Visits are virtual, so you can meet with me from wherever you are in Colorado. Most patients leave the first visit relieved to have a plan and a provider who already understands where they're coming from.
