Great to meet you!

As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, my approach to care is patient-centered, collaborative, and evidence-based. I believe mental health treatment works best when clients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their care decisions.

I take time to understand the whole person, not just symptoms. This includes your history, current stressors, lifestyle, medical background, and personal goals. Treatment plans are individualized and may include medication management, education, and supportive guidance—always tailored to what is clinically appropriate and aligned with your needs.

My approach to therapy

My practice style is calm, respectful, and structured. I value clear communication and transparency, and I work to ensure that you understand your diagnosis, treatment options, and the reasoning behind clinical decisions. I do not believe in “one-size-fits-all” care or rushing treatment.

Strengths of my practice include:

  • Thorough psychiatric evaluations
  • Thoughtful and conservative medication management
  • Ongoing monitoring and adjustments based on response and safety
  • A non-judgmental, professional environment
  • Clear boundaries with a strong focus on clinical appropriateness

I am committed to providing care that is ethical, compassionate, and grounded in best practices. My goal is to support symptom improvement, stability, and long-term mental wellness while empowering clients to take an active role in their mental health journey.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation focused on understanding your concerns, history, and treatment goals. We will review symptoms, past treatments, medical and mental health history, and overall functioning in a professional, non-judgmental setting.

You’ll have time to ask questions and discuss next steps. Treatment options may be reviewed, and medication will be considered only if clinically appropriate—there is no guarantee that medication will be prescribed at the first visit.

My approach is collaborative, transparent, and focused on safe, individualized care.
