Great to meet you!

My goal is to educate, encourage, & empower those I work with. I strive to understand how each client thinks, feels, as well as views relationships & the world in general. It is my belief that only once these points are understood that I can extend meaningful support that can illicit change. I am an LGBTQ ally & sex-positive therapist with 15+ years experience. I work with individuals ages 16-60 who are dealing with stressful life situations, relationship challenges, grief, & mood disorders.

My approach to therapy

You know yourself better than anyone. My role is to help you identify patterns in thought, relationships, situations, etc. that are unhealthy or preventing you from achieving your goals. This is achieved by offering feedback, teaching skills, helping you increase your support network, and identify steps you can take to achieve better balance in your life. Personal growth and the achievement of goals does not occur by remaining static.

What you can expect from me

In each session I afford a safe space to share your experience. In return, I provide feedback, teach healthy coping/communication/conflict resolutation skills, help you increase your support network, and identify steps you can take to achieve a better balance in your life.
