Clients can expect their first session to feel welcoming, relaxed, and free of judgment. My goal is to create a safe and comfortable environment where you can begin sharing your story at your own pace.
During our initial session, we’ll focus on getting to know you—what brings you to counseling, what challenges you’re currently facing, and what you hope to gain from the process. I may ask questions about your background, relationships, and overall well-being to better understand your unique experiences.
Together, we’ll begin identifying goals that feel meaningful and realistic for you. These goals might include improving coping skills, reducing stress or anxiety, strengthening relationships, or gaining greater clarity and self-understanding.
You don’t need to have everything figured out before you come in. This first session is simply a starting point—an opportunity to feel heard, build trust, and take the first step toward positive change.
