Great to meet you!

Something doesn't feel quite right, and you don't know exactly what it is. You may be navigating anxiety, depression, loneliness, relationship difficulties, identity, belonging, or a major life transition. You may be used to holding a lot together while wondering when you will begin to feel better. I work with adolescents, young adults, adults, and families, including immigrants and children of immigrants.

I’m a bicultural, bilingual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with over 10 years of experience in mental health. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with immigrants, adolescents, single mothers, asylum seekers, and people navigating anxiety, depression, relationships, life transitions, and questions of identity and belonging.

I’m especially drawn to working with people who may feel caught between different worlds, or who are looking for a greater sense of connection—with themselves, their relationships, or their communities. Sometimes you know something isn’t quite working, but you’re not sure why. Sometimes you’ve been holding a lot together for a long time and are ready for something to feel different.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy can be a place to slow down, feel understood, and become curious about what’s happening in your life. We can talk about what you’re experiencing right now while also making space to understand the experiences and relationships that have shaped you.

I bring warmth, curiosity, and openness to my work. You don’t need to have everything figured out before we begin. We can start with where you are and work together to better understand what you’re going through, what matters to you, and what you want to be different.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and talk about what brings you to therapy. We’ll explore what you’ve been experiencing, some of your history, and what you’re hoping for from therapy.

Just as importantly, it’s a chance for you to get a sense of what it feels like to work with me. Finding the right therapist matters, and I want you to feel comfortable being yourself, asking questions, and bringing what matters to you into the room.
