Great to meet you!

I am Le’Gari Daniels, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over 3 years of intensive inpatient experience. Throughout my career, I have worked with adults (18+) facing challenges related to psychosis, bipolar disorder, depression, personality disorders, and other mental health concerns. I earned my Master of Science in Counseling from Abilene Christian University and strive to create a therapeutic environment rooted in compassion, growth, and authenticity.

My approach to therapy

If you have been through intensive mental health care and feel uncertain what outpatient therapy even looks like, I want you to know this: healing does not have to look the same for everyone. I spent more than three years working in inpatient psychiatric settings, which means I have worked with people at some of their hardest moments. I understand how psychosis, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, and depression can make daily life feel unmanageable. I also know that the structured intensity of inpatient care is not the only path forward. My work is telehealth only, so we can connect from wherever you feel most comfortable. I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) depending on what fits your situation. For clients who want it, I also offer Christian-informed therapy, weaving faith into the process as a source of strength and grounding. I am not looking to give you a script or a one-size-fits-all plan. I want to understand your specific story, your goals, and what has or has not worked before. From there, we build something that actually fits your life. I work with adults 18 and older, with particular experience in mood disorders, personality disorders, anxiety, grief, and life transitions. I look forward to seeing if we are a good fit.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to explore your goals, concerns, and overall fit for the therapeutic process. I believe a strong therapeutic relationship is important, so our initial work together focuses on building trust, understanding your needs, and determining how I can best support you. My goal is to create an atmosphere of acceptance, safety, and healing.
