Great to meet you!

I have worked for over 20 years in private practice and within the school system with children. My training consisted of psychodynamic and psychoanalytic method and different approaches in child psychology. I'm also a practicing artist with Master's degree in painting from Pratt Institute. My varied background means I understand and appreciate people. And yet what matters most is that, knowing yourself gives you the freedom to productively navigate your life. Getting to know yourself is the road less traveled. It’s a privilege only you can give yourself.

My approach to therapy

I will work as your companion and guide on the essential journey that takes place within yourself. Understanding the patterns you developed—how they made sense, what they protect you from—opens possibility for changing them.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, we get to know each other. You let me know who you are and where you need to go. I will try to give you better understanding of what the process is. We slowly ease into a comfortable confidence. As the work continues and you begin to become more self-aware, the therapeutic relationship becomes a safe and thriving ground in which your new feelings and attitudes can grow.
