Great to meet you!

I was diagnosed with a bilateral middle ear defects that required two craniotomies. I have completed extensive rehabilitation. I realize now that what were perceived deficits are instead a great clinical asset when working with individuals in their own process of rehabilitation. This physical disability has made me stronger including my understanding of what it means to be seen as a fully functioning person one day and the next day being seen as disabled.

My approach to therapy

I am licensed in Missouri with 14 years of professional work experience. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, relationship issues, trauma and abuse, head injuries, and coping with grief and loss. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment.

What you can expect from me

I believe it is important to set goals for therapy. It provides a map on where we are going and when we have reached the goal. I strive to keep a warm and client centered space to work in.
