Great to meet you!

You may be used to saying “I’m fine” because explaining everything underneath it feels harder than simply carrying it yourself. Anxiety can keep your mind constantly running, stress may leave you exhausted and irritable, depression can make it harder to feel like yourself, or anger and relationship difficulties may be signaling that something deeper needs attention. I provide virtual individual therapy for adults and seniors throughout Texas, with a focus on anxiety, depression, stress management, anger management, and relationship issues. I also support clients navigating family concerns, panic, and trauma when those experiences are contributing to what they are feeling today. With eight years of experience, I understand how powerful it can be to finally feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood. My goal is to provide that kind of space while helping you develop the insight and practical tools needed to create meaningful changes in your everyday life.

My approach to therapy

Understanding why you feel the way you do matters, but I also want therapy to help you know what to do when those feelings show up outside our sessions. We’ll explore the thoughts, emotions, relationships, and experiences contributing to anxiety, depression, stress, anger, or relationship difficulties while also considering how family dynamics, panic, or trauma may be influencing those primary concerns. My approach is warm, structured, and strengths based, with an emphasis on helping you feel both supported and appropriately challenged. I may use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to identify patterns in thoughts and behaviors that contribute to distress, Motivational Interviewing to explore uncertainty and strengthen motivation for change, Solution Focused Brief Therapy to identify practical next steps, Problem Solving Therapy to make overwhelming situations feel more manageable, and Trauma Focused CBT when past experiences continue to affect the present. We’ll build on what is already working while developing strategies you can realistically use in your daily life.

What you can expect from me

Your first session does not need to feel like an interview or a test you have to prepare for. We’ll start by getting to know one another, talking about what brought you to therapy, and making sure you feel comfortable enough to decide whether we are a good fit. From there, we’ll identify what you want to change and create goals together that feel realistic and meaningful. You can expect warmth, encouragement, and honest conversations, along with practical strategies you can begin applying between sessions. Progress may look like spending less time caught in anxious thoughts, responding to stress or anger differently, feeling more connected during depression, navigating relationships with clearer boundaries and communication, managing panic more effectively, or understanding how past experiences continue to shape the present. My goal is for therapy to become a place where you feel understood while also gaining the confidence and skills to handle life differently. When you’re ready, you can use Headway to review your insurance information and schedule a first session.
