Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed and Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor (LADC-I, CADC-II) in Massachusetts and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida. I am also a Certified Master's Level Addiction Professional (MCAP), an Internationally Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor (ICADC), and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP-I).

I earned my first Master's degree in Health Sciences with a concentration in Substance Abuse Counseling from the Universidad Central del Caribe in Bayamón, Puerto Rico. In 2025, I completed my second graduate degree, a Master of Arts in Counseling from Kairos University.

For nearly 10 years, I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults experiencing a variety of mental health and substance use challenges. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds, including minority populations, immigrants, single parents, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and multicultural communities.

As a bilingual therapist fluent in both English and Spanish, I am committed to providing accessible, culturally sensitive, and inclusive care. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where you feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout your therapeutic journey.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is primarily grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), while also incorporating Motivational Interviewing and other evidence-based interventions tailored to each client's unique needs and goals.

I believe that therapy is most effective when it is collaborative. I strive to meet clients where they are, helping them identify their strengths, gain insight into patterns that may be keeping them stuck, and develop practical tools for creating meaningful change. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, substance use, relationship concerns, low self-esteem, or life transitions, I work alongside you to build healthier coping strategies and improve overall well-being.

My approach is compassionate, supportive, and goal-oriented, while recognizing that lasting growth happens at a pace that feels comfortable and sustainable for each individual.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my primary focus is getting to know you and understanding what has brought you to therapy. We will discuss your current concerns, personal history, strengths, goals, and any challenges you are facing. This session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and determine whether I am the right fit for your needs.

I understand that starting therapy can feel intimidating or overwhelming, so I work to create a welcoming and comfortable space where you can share at your own pace. Together, we will begin identifying your goals and developing a plan that supports your growth and healing. My hope is that you leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the path forward.

Currently, I provide services exclusively through TeleHealth.
