Great to meet you!

Leah Bowman is a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW-S). She received a Bachelor's degree in Social Work at Ohio University and attended The Ohio State University for her Masters in Social Work. After graduating, Leah worked at Ohio State’s psychiatric hospital facilitating DBT focused, inpatient group therapy & later transitioned to their PHP-IOP program which focused on therapy modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, and Schema Therapy.

My approach to therapy

Her approach to therapy supports a dialectical worldview, meaning two seemingly opposing ideas can be true at the same time. She is validating and gentle while being direct in order to provide clients with feedback that can lead to both acceptance and change within their life.

What you can expect from me

Clients who work with Leah can expect a non-judgmental attitude and supportive feedback to empower growth.
