Great to meet you!

I specialize in working through the impact of trauma as it pertains to attachment, emotional, and relational issues. I work with adolescents and adults who are wanting to move towards greater connection and healing with self and others. Oftentimes, the most difficult feelings are hard to express with just words. For this reason, many clients who I work with choose to integrate talk therapy with somatic and art therapy in their sessions.

My approach to therapy

Through a gentle approach that involves mind and body, I will support you in slowing down in order to pay attention to your emotions and check in with how your nervous system is responding. This practice of learning how to stay present with both the pleasant and unpleasant emotions and sensations will help you develop the confidence of knowing that you can handle the big sensations connected with your emotional experiences.

What you can expect from me

You’ll find that your capacity to feel joy, spontaneity, and creative freedom will expand as anger, grief, and healthy aggression are progressively recognized and integrated.

  • Address how trauma can impact your sense of worth and how you show up in relationships today
  • Turn inward to notice bodily sensations connected to your emotions
  • Identify your needs, boundaries, preferences, beliefs, and values
  • Tap into your inherent creativity to build new connections
