Great to meet you!

My name is Leah Donnelson and I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker doing therapy in Springfield, Missouri. I work with a wide range of people, but I specialize in working with individuals who struggle with symptoms of trauma and PTSD. I also work with clients who have symptoms of Depression, Anxiety, addiction, grief, or even just difficult life transitions.

My approach to therapy

My preferred approach is Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), however, I also use CBT and mindfulness based approaches as well.

What you can expect from me

My hope for each person who comes to see me is that they feel heard and seen. I want to create a safe place for people who are struggling to be able to open up, share their difficult stories, and also learn about themselves. My hope is each person will understand their thoughts and behaviors, process any trauma that is still holding them back, and then be able to be the absolute best version of themselves.
