
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience in Mental Health and Substance Use Services, Medical Social Work, In Home Assessments, Geriatrics, and Restorative Justice and Rehabilitation in Criminal Justice settings. I have additional certifications for Medical Social Work. I have a special interest in immigration and bi-cultural families. I have had extensive supplemental training in treatments for addictions, anxiety and trauma related conditions. I have a commitment to recovery principles and understand the steps necessary to promote success for individuals, families and communities. I offer a strength-based focus utilizing a range of modalities, including motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral, narrative, dialectical behavior therapy and solution-focused brief therapy. What this really all means is that I have sought out opportunities to learn about the many types of human experiences and seek to apply that clinical knowledge in a supportive way to assist others.
