Great to meet you!

I grew up as native Texan despite moving around with the military family. I have been in the counseling field for over 15 years working with children, adolescents, and adults. I work out of The Center for Children & Families in Waco where I've made my home since graduating from Southwestern Theological Seminary. I am trained in Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) to help clients of any age process trauma and move forward successfully.

My approach to therapy

My goal is to help you (my client) navigate difficulties and process past challenging events. Similar to a lighthouse that shines on the rocks to help guide ships navigating the rocky shore, I aim to help shed light in dark and difficult areas with calmness. I do come from a Christian worldview while honoring and respecting your beliefs and faith. I meet each client where they are on this journey.

What you can expect from me

An ideal client is someone willing to work on challenges in their lives. Whether it is processing their thoughts and feelings (both rational and irrational) or needing someone to share with, I am here for my clients. My goal is to help my clients utilize and strengthen their healthy coping strategies they may already have or develop new ones.
