Great to meet you!

My approach to therapy is simple: I'll meet you where you are. Not where I think you should be, not where a clinical checklist says you are — where you actually are.

I'm Leah (she/her), an LCSW trained at California University of Pennsylvania with five years of clinical experience and 30 active clients in western Pennsylvania. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, identity, women's mental health, and learning differences — with a warm, collaborative approach that adapts to your specific needs and pace.

My approach to therapy

My sessions are built around you, not a rigid protocol. I start by getting to know you — your strengths, your history, and what actually matters to you — and from there, we build something together.

I draw from CBT to address the thought patterns driving anxiety and depression, ACT to build psychological flexibility and help you move toward what matters, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) to develop awareness and emotional regulation, and Motivational Interviewing when change feels complicated or ambivalent. Psychodynamic approaches help us understand the deeper patterns shaping how you show up in relationships and daily life.

Starting therapy can feel hard — I'll do everything I can to make sure our sessions feel comfortable from day one.

What you can expect from me

The first session is about getting to know each other. I want to hear what's brought you here, what you're hoping will be different, and what you're looking for in a therapist.

We'll start identifying your goals and make sure the direction we're headed feels right for you. My practice is small by design — so from the very first session, you'll have a therapist who's genuinely invested in your progress.
