Great to meet you!

The decision to see a therapist is one of the most important ones you can make, because it means you have decided to investigate ways to change the course of your emotional experience. Human emotions can sometimes be overwhelming, scary, or hard to understand. I understand how difficult it can be to live with depression, anxiety, and past trauma, and I want you to know that you are not alone. It takes a lot of courage to seek therapy, and I am here to support you in accepting your resilience, discovering your strengths, and finding peace.

My approach to therapy

Therapy can be a challenging and vulnerable process. I approach it from a humanistic perspective, taking into account your circumstances, goals, and environment. Intergenerational stress can have a profound impact on our everyday experience, and I believe that understanding how our minds and bodies process that experience is key to relieving suffering.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to help you develop the insights, skills, and coping strategies you need to regulate your emotions, develop perspective, and live a more meaningful life. I enjoy working with adults of all ages, but I specialize in the concerns of midlife, including menopause, relationship dynamics, job loss and career reinvention, and caregiving.
