I am an LCSW and received my MSW from the University of Houston in 2017. Prior to that, I received my Bachelor of Science in Leadership and Development from Texas A&M University in 2013. I have over 7 years of clinical experience helping others achieve their personal goals. Witnessing people share their stories and seeing their empowerment and growth is the most wonderful privilege. I am working toward my Perinatal Mental Health Certification as I specialize in maternal mental health.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Therapy is a judgement-free zone where you can take the time to process your feelings and set goals for your future. I have training in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused Therapy. Personally, I am a Christian, and if desired, I will utilize a Christian Counseling approach during sessions. I also have a special heart for helping women adjust and cope in the perinatal period.

What you can expect from our first session

The most important thing to me is that you KNOW you are important, special, strong, and loved. You are perfectly imperfect. It is okay to have challenges and failure is a part of growth. I am also perfectly imperfect and while I cannot "fix" you, I promise to walk alongside you. You are not alone.
