Great to meet you!

I believe that your lived experiences are valid and essential for our work together. I specialize in eating disorders, disordered eating, body image issues, and also treat depression and anxiety. Foundational to my work are the principles of bodily autonomy, Health At Every Size (HAES®), harm reduction, social justice, and compassion.

My approach to therapy

My Philosophy of practice is built on the foundations of kindness, curiosity, and compassion. Together, we will work on your personal therapeutic goals. I incorporate this philosophy with evidence-based therapy to best suit your needs, including Mindfulness, CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), DBT skills (dialectical behavioral therapy Skills), MI (motivational interviewing), and others.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a diagnostic interview to begin to build therapeutic rapport. We will set goals together, and make a treatment plan that makes sense for you. Follow-up sessions are 60 minutes during which we'll address your goals on an ongoing basis. I offer a partnership and space for healing in the therapeutic process. Based on your specific needs, you'll gain new coping skills and learn to change thought patterns and behaviors that you find unhelpful.
