Unresolved trauma, such as shame, betrayal, abandonment, and/or rejection can cause various emotional/physical symptoms and impaired functioning in relationships, employment, home life, and spiritual beliefs.
Sometimes people seek an empathic Therapist who can relate because they have experienced similar challenges, making it easier for them to share their hurts, habits, and hangups. I provide emotional validation and compassion of what you are currently experiencing as well as teach the necessary coping skills and techniques to make changes to the unhealthy behaviors and patterns that need improvement.
