Great to meet you!

Hi I’m Leah! I am an LCSW and have been in the field of social work since 2016. Before that I was a teacher for many years both in NJ and AZ.

I love working with people and helping individuals learn new skills, gain fresh perspectives, and move forward from past hurts. I specialize in anxiety, depression, and trauma, and am a certified clinical trauma specialist. It is my honor to walk alongside you as you take this very brave step towards living a more empowered and authentic life.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is compassionate, empathetic, non-judgmental, and direct. I work from a trauma-informed lens and use a combination of CBT, DBT, ACT and IFS. I use mindfulness-based practices, the mind-body connection, and yoga philosophy to help calm the body and quiet the mind. When the body is calm, and the mind is quiet, we can hear the voice of our Truth and find the answers within ourselves.

What you can expect from me

I strive to create a safe space in the therapy room where you can feel seen and heard without judgement. I offer gentle feedback and support and hold space for all emotions.

We collaborate together to create goals that are tailored specifically to help you get where you want to be.

I look forward to working with you as you take steps to empower yourself to live the life that you deserve!
